Rev. Eric Randolph
Born in Syracuse, NY, Pastor Eric Randolph (he/him) is a proud native of the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Pennsylvania. With deep roots in his community and faith, Pastor Eric’s journey has been one of both spiritual growth and a deep commitment to proclaiming the liberating truth of the gospel.

Pastor Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, and a Master of Divinity from United Lutheran Seminary, where he honed his theological expertise and pastoral skills. For him, proclaiming the gospel isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. He believes that the radical, liberating truth of Christ’s love inspires us to live with compassion and purpose. To him, faith is not something to hide; it’s revealed through our relationships—with God, with one another, and with the world. His ministry is centered on building Christ-centered relationships rooted in the Word and Sacraments, always striving to reflect God’s bold vision of a welcoming, grace-filled “kin-dom.”

In the summer of 2000, Eric moved to the Metro D.C. area, bringing with him a deep sense of purpose and a passion for service. Over the years, he has become a respected leader in both faith-based and community organizations. He has served on the board of directors for PFLAG Southern Maryland, working tirelessly to support LGBTQ+ individuals and their families. Most recently, he was honored with an appointment to the Governor’s Interfaith Council by Maryland Governor Wes Moore, where he contributed to fostering understanding and collaboration among Maryland’s diverse faith communities.

Beyond his professional life, Eric has been happily married to his husband for 13 years. Together, they share their home with a lively and lovable five-year-old Welsh Springer Spaniel, a breed Eric has cherished since childhood. When he’s not leading or serving, you’ll find him traveling, immersing himself in new cultures, or diving into a good book, ever curious and eager to learn.

Pastor Eric’s life and ministry reflect a singular purpose: to live out and share the radical love of Christ. Whether in the pulpit, the community, or simply through everyday interactions, Eric’s faith shines as a beacon of hope, inclusion, and grace for all.
